This short story immediately struck me in my heart as I carry not a birthmark, but a scar on my face inflicted by someone who was supposed to protect me as a child.

I used to lie when asked what happened to avoid sharing the truth. But through the love of Jesus Christ, not only was I healed from the trauma, but I was also delivered from feeling ashamed of sharing my testimony. Today I walk in the power, authority and love of Jesus!

Reading the book, THE BIRTHMARK, reminded me of God’s love and protection over my life during a time I felt he wasn’t there. I am reminded that I Am fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image!
