You will travel to places like the strikingly beautiful landscapes of 19th-century Sicily, the heart-wrenching tenement houses and factories of early 20th-century Brooklyn, New York, the bustling, suspenseful, and romantic atmosphere of contemporary Milan, Italy, the colorful, passionate, and exotic shores of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the breathtakingly natural beauty of Cape May, New Jersey—all places I’ve been blessed to visit and even to live for a while.

I’ve loved books and everything related to them since I was knee-high and my father used to read to me from the Oxford Book of English Verse. My favorite place is the library, and my favorite store is Staples.
